No Burn® PRODUCTS  1. No-Burn® Wood Gard Mih No-Burn® Wood Gard Mih is a dual-action product that has proven to be effective against the potential of fires as a Class A fire reactant and also inhibits the growth of toxic black mold (stachybotrus chartarum), according to ASTM D5590-94 tests. We use Wood Gard Mih on wood framing during the framing stage of construction of your building. Wood Gard Mih has the same benefits and uses described below for Wood Gard with the added protection against toxic mold. Wood Gard Mih is available in 1-gallon, 5-gallon and 55-gallon quantities.  2. No-Burn® Wood Gard After the structure is completed, our Wood Gard technology protects indefinitely. Whether an electrical short inside a wall or a fire within the living space extends to the framing, Wood Gard protects the most important part of your building the – structure or "bones" of home. As time passes and wood dries out, Wood Gard remains intact ready to do its job protecting your home against fire. Wood Gard is available in 1-gallon, 5-gallon and 55-gallon quantities.  3. No-Burn® Plus Mih No-Burn® Plus Mih is a dual action product protecting painted surfaces as a fire reactant while inhibiting the growth of toxic mold. This product gives the same mold-resistant protection as Wood Gard Mih, but is suitable for application to the interior surfaces of a structure, such as drywall or in various applications where moisture poses a potential mold problem. Plus Mih has the same benefits and uses described below for Plus with the added protection against toxic mold. 4. No-Burn® Plus Like No-Burn® Plus Mih the No-Burn® Plus product is an interior latex paint product that is normally used as a base primer under the color finish coat. Plus is not a fire retardant paint, but rather an intumescing fire reactant that when exposed to heat or flame, "swells" up, providing a protective char barrier that shields the underlying materials from heat and fire. This protective barrier "swells," creating an intact "cocoon" that can withstand a tremendous amount of heat and fire. Because Plus does not allow the treated surfaces to be readily used as a fuel source for the fire, it can actually reduce the production of deadly toxic smoke by up to 80 percent. No-Burn® Plus is available in 1-gallon, 5-gallon and 55-gallon quantities.  5. No-Burn® Original No-Burn® Original is a versatile product that can be used to achieve fire-inhibiting capabilities on furniture, mantels, banisters, cabinets, crafts, various hobbies and wood prior to finishing. Original does not leave a residue.  6. No-Burn® Hot Spot Homebuilders and developers use No-Burn® Hot Spot to eliminate plumber started fires during framing by treating the area around where the plumber may be sweating pipes. Also, in the average home there are many areas that are at a high risk for fire so this product can be excellent for the homebuyer as well. Hot Spot comes in a handy 64 fluid oz. size with a large handle and long hose with a trigger sprayer making it easier to get into the hard to reach areas around the home. Use on wood surfaces in the home, especially around dryer vents, electrical panels and outlets, garage interiors, attics, chimney flues.  7. No-Burn® Fabric Fire Gard Interior furnishings are the number one contributing factor to the swift spread of fire and smoke within a home. In most cases, it is the toxic smoke that kills the occupants, not the fire itself. Interior furnishings also contribute to the phenomenon known as "flashover", in which the fire gases within a structure become superheated, causing everything within the vicinity of the fire to explode into flames. No-Burn® Fabric Fire Gard is a clear, non-toxic and odorless liquid, developed to help alleviate this problem. This non-toxic, non-carcinogenic and environmentally safe fire retardant is applied directly to furniture fabrics and other interior furnishings. Not only can Fabric Fire Gard slow down the fire, but in many cases it will not allow interior furnishings to catch fire. Fabric Fire Gard can also be applied to stuffed toys, crafts, clothing, holiday decorations, costumes, potholders and many other household items such as a treated kitchen fire towel.   8. No-Burn® Christmas Tree Fire Gard Each year, hundreds of homes are destroyed or damaged by fires ignited or spread by live or artificial Christmas trees. A Christmas tree is a large, open source of fire fuel. No-Burn® Christmas Tree Fire Gard was developed for direct application to the tree, rendering it highly fire resistant. Christmas Tree Fire Gard can also be used on garlands, wreaths and other holiday decorations.
