No-Burn® Wood Gard

Wood is the primary component used in the construction of most houses and many commercial facilities. These structures, especially during the framing stage, are very susceptible to fire. Once the structure is completed, the wood dries out over time leaving a very volatile mass of fuel to burn. Whether the fire is started by human error, an electrical malfunction, lightning, chimney fire or other means of ignition, if the structure is not protected, it will burn. With lightweight building materials and construction methods in use today, many of these homes and businesses are experiencing structural failure within minutes of a fire. This leads to injury and death of both occupants and firefighters.

NO-BURN® WOOD GARD is applied during the framing of the structure. After the structure is completed, NO-BURN® WOOD GARD protects indefinitely. Whether an electrical short inside a wall, the structure sustains a lightning strike or a fire within the living space extends to the framing, NO-BURN® WOOD GARD is ready to protect the structure. As time passes and wood dries out, WOOD GARD remains intact ready to do its job.

Wood can become a volatile fuel once it has dried. NO-BURN® WOOD GARD is a Class A fire reactant that is applied to wooden structures during the framing process, encapsulating the wood itself and protecting it by retarding fire.

USES: Use on wood framing during the framing stage of construction. Use on "hot spots" in your home: around dryer vents, electrical boxes, furnaces, fireplaces, in attics and garages.

Warranty for NB  Products is conditional based upon proper application and installation. Installation of products must meet the conditions of being applied by a licensed/certified

No-Burn® Dealer and include an FRCR Rating if and when applicable.

TEST RESULTS

NO-BURN® WOOD GARD is UL Classified and ULC Listed, carries a Class A rating per ASTM E-84 and meets the requirements of UL 723.
